About the role

You've achieved strong results at the All-Russian Olympiad, IMO/IOI, or ICPC → graduated from a top technical university → hit Senior level in 3-4 years → looking for a new challenge → what’s next?

You could settle for an existential crisis. Or, you could join the HFT industry to fully leverage your practical experience, problem-solving skills (tackling challenges ChatGPT can’t solve), and your drive to win.

In the Middle Quant role, you'll own the full lifecycle of quantitative strategies – from research and model development to running them live in production. You'll work directly with experienced quants who've been solving these challenges for 6+ years, tackling problems that don't have answers you can Google and competing in a space where stagnation isn't an option.

Prerequisites

  • 3+ years of professional experience (non-HFT) with a track record of delivering results
  • You can prove your ability to compete through (and/or):
    • strong competition results (All-Russian Olympiad, International Olympiads, ICPC NEF+, ~2300 Codeforces, etc.)
    • successful HFT experience
    • exceptional performance with a growth track in a technical role
  • Deep understanding of mathematics, statistics, and probability theory
  • Solid knowledge of algorithms and data structures
  • Proficiency in C++ (standard library, containers, complexity analysis) and Linux-based terminal
  • Strong Python skills for data analysis (numpy, pandas, matplotlib)
  • You're self-directed, proactive, and consistently deliver solutions end-to-end
  • Experience in ML, advanced C++, or HFT is a plus but not required
